Educational Workshops
The objective of these sessions is to get into smaller markets and work with those women+ who are looking for more knowledge and guidance. We aim to enhance the skills of bartenders in communication, empowerment and confidence with words from the ACP team while working with others from The Ada Coleman Project database to offer training on bespoke topics. Some of the subjects covered will include Communication Skills, Customer Engagement, Sustainability, Confidence Building, Empowerment and Building Your Personal Brand.
Speed Networking
This ground-breaking opportunity will see 9-12 industry leaders together in one room sharing their knowledge and insight, giving one-on-one time to aspiring women+, in a series of 7-minute segments. In order to have as many participants as possible, each guest will speak with 3 mentors so we are able to serve 36 people in a 90-minute session. Each session will be broken up into 3 mini sessions of 30 minutes. The event’s fast-paced nature encourages participants to refine their communication skills, articulate their professional goals succinctly, and make memorable impressions. As a result, attendees can quickly identify potential mentors, collaborators, or future colleagues who align with their career aspirations.

Building upon the talents and expertise of our Movers & Shakers, we curate informative and entertaining panels based on a multitude of subjects. A few of the subjects that we may cover this year: Navigating Global Cocktail Competitions, Sustainable Bar Practices, The Benefits of Building a Diverse Bar Team, Crafting Your Cocktail Techniques & Avoiding Burnout.
